Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OneTestBank (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
OneTestBank is a web application that helps instructors build a question bank, assemble exams, and export them as DOCX, PDF, QTI, or to Canvas. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be affiliated with an educational institution or otherwise authorized to use the Service for course material.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the questions, exams, and other material you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate any law.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
- Do not resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
- Respect the AI usage limits and rate limits that apply to your plan.
5. Plans, billing, and trials
The Service offers a Free plan and paid Plus/Pro plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. Listed prices are tax-inclusive. Paid subscriptions include a 14-day money-back guarantee; contact us within 14 days for a full refund. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. 6. AI features
AI-assisted import and editing tools generate suggestions that may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it. AI usage is subject to per-plan token limits.
7. Product improvement & active development
OneTestBank is under active development. By creating an account you acknowledge and agree that your account activity and the content you create (such as questions and exams) may be collected and used to operate, analyze, secure, and improve the Service — including diagnosing problems and refining features. We handle this data as described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models. You confirm this at sign-up via a required acknowledgment checkbox.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with the law. On account deletion, Your Content is removed from the active Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
